15/09/2008
In the state of Gujarat, in the west of India, Docteur Sharan, a member of the Organisation Pour l’Utilisation de la Rosée (OPUR) developed a system to collect this atmospheric water. The system, installed on the roof of a 300 m² barn can provide up to 70 litres of water a day for between 8 and 9 months a year. This technique allows clean untreated drinkable water to be collected and is also going to be used in Corsica and Croatia.
