Solidarity among generations

Isolation and the ever-increasing cost of living are recurring problems for old people as well as for students who find it difficult to find housing in the Ile-de-France area. All over France, the « pari solidaire » organisation puts young people in touch with old people who have a room to rent in their house. Services and presence in exchange for accommodation help create intergenerational solidarity; an exchange of courtesies which mutually beneficial.
