Founded in Italy in 1986, Slow Food protects a variety of products and flavours that face standardisation imposed by the food industry. With 80 000 members in over one hundred countries, Slow Food advertises products, supports local producers, and creates awareness of flavours (taste education) and the pleasures of eating well.
