Annual dolphin hunt takes place in Japan

Every year, japanese fishermen from the village of Taiji go out at sea to capture thousands of dolphins for their meat or to supply aquariums all over the world. This year is no different. The slaughter has begun in the bay. Hundreds of dolphins were trapped into the bay where they will no doubt be slaughered if not chosen by aquarium representatives. Images from the bay have filtered in the press.
