The Republic of Zambia is a landlocked country in Southern Africa. Originally part of the British Northern Rhodesia, it’s now in the Commonwealth and its official language is English. The country has 11,6 million inhabitants (2005), its capital is Lusaka and its currency is the Zambian kwacha.
