Aaron Wolf DR

Aaron Wolf is a geography professor in the Department of geosciences at Oregon State University. His research focuses on the relationship between transboundary water resources, political conflict, and international cooperation. He is the head of a database project on transboundary conflicts surrounding water (http://terra.geo.orst.edu). He was a consultant for the US Agency for International Development, the World Bank, and several governments on several aspects concerning issues relating to international water resources and conflict resolution. He was particularly involved in developing strategies aiming to resolve water-related problems in the Arab-Israeli conflict. He is the author/co-author of seven books and approximately 50 journal articles and reports on different aspects of transboundary waters. His last published book was “Managing Water Conflicts: Dispute Resolution, Public Participation, and Institutional Capacity-Building.”
