The World Resources Institute (WRI) is an environmental think tank established in 1982 and based in Washington D.C. This independent research institute, non partisan and not for profit, is composed of one hundred or so scientists, economists, political and financial experts and analysts. The mission of the WRI is to find practical means to protect Earth’s environment and its capacity to provide for the needs and aspirations of current and future generations.
