Enoveco, a French company based in Montmagny developed a coating which acts as a heat and sound insulator in 2007. It is applied like ordinary paint and provides insulation equivalent to 15 cm of glass wool. It is made up of resin and ceramic acrylic, prevents calories being stored and reflects heat rays without ageing. It can be used indoors and outdoors, on all types of supports : the walls of traditional, industrial or agricultural buildings. It also protects piping and roofing. Its installation helps save energy, reduces CO2 emissions and does not produce a lot of waste which is hard to recycle (polyester or glass wool).
