Algae against hunger
26/08/2008

Since it was created in 1990, the Targuinca organisation helps populations suffering from hunger throughout the world. It has been a Niger specialist since 2001 and helps nomads in the desert to eat using spirulina. It is a blue microalgae which is easy to grow, even in the desert and its nutritional value is high. It also has therapeutic properties and its cultivation does not damage ecosystems.
