Uruguay

Uruguay is a South American country south of Brazil and east of Argentina, from which it is separated by the Uruguay river. This river gave the country its name (the official name is República Oriental del Uruguay, which means "the Oriental Republic of Uruguay"). Montevideo is its capital.
