Buy some rain forest
26/08/2008
The British non-governmental organization Cool Earth uses the donations it receives to acquire rain forests in Brazil, Guyana and Ecuador. The private property is thus an eco-friendly guarantee as forest spaces which are managed by organisations are not under pressure from forestry companies. The other advantage is the size : the preservation of trees allows carbon to be stocked. Over 400 000 hectares of forest have thus been protected in Guyana.
